The Comfort Colors 1717 is a thicker garment-dyed heavyweight (6.1 oz/yd²) with a relaxed fit and a broken-in feel, and it's on The 229 Series and the AK Landscape Tee for $38 in S–XL. Pick the 3001 for a lighter, cleaner fit and the 1717 for a heavier, roomier, vintage-feeling tee.

Bella+Canvas 3001: soft, light and clean
The 3001 is a lightweight staple tee. It drapes close to the body without being tight, and it's soft from the first wear. Because it's light, it's comfortable in South Georgia heat. The tradeoff is that the thin fabric can look slightly sheer, especially on lighter colors and under some lighting.
On Akicktion's standard 3001 pricing, sizes XS–XL are $30, 2XL is $32, 3XL is $34, 4XL is $36 and 5XL is $38. The size range depends on the design and color, so check each product page.

Comfort Colors 1717: heavy, relaxed and broken in
The 1717 is garment-dyed, which means the shirt is dyed after it's sewn. That gives it a soft, faded, lived-in look from day one, and each tee's color varies slightly. It's a thicker fabric with a relaxed, roomier cut, so it hangs straighter and isn't see-through the way a lightweight tee can be. It's a good canvas for the big back prints in The 229 Series.

Sizing tips
- Measure a tee you already love. Lay it flat and compare it with the measurements for the size you're considering. That's more reliable than going by the letter size alone.
- Both blanks are unisex. If you usually wear women's sizes, you may want to go down a size in a unisex tee, but compare measurements to be sure.
- Want the 3001 roomier? It has a closer fit than the 1717, so some people size up for a looser look.
- Want the 1717 less boxy? It already runs relaxed, so stay with your usual size, or go down one if you like a closer fit.
- Wash it right. Wash cold and inside out, and hang dry or tumble dry low. Don't iron the print.
