How Printed-to-Order Works at Akicktion
At Akicktion, every item is printed to order: nothing is made until you buy it. Production usually takes 2–7 business days, and most orders then arrive about 3–7 business days after they ship, with tracking by email. We currently ship to US addresses only. Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase, the shipping fee is non-refundable, and you pay return postage. Questions go to ryan@akicktion.com.
What does "printed to order" mean?
We don't keep shelves of pre-printed shirts. When you place an order, your piece is produced for you by our print partner and then shipped straight to you. Our tees are printed direct-to-garment (DTG), which means the design is printed right onto the shirt.
There are a few reasons we work this way:
- Less waste. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing gets printed just to be thrown out.
- More designs and sizes. We can offer a design in a wide range of sizes without guessing how many of each to stock.
- Made for you. Every shirt is printed for the person who ordered it.
The tradeoff is time. A printed-to-order shirt takes a little longer to reach you than one pulled off a shelf.
How long does an Akicktion order take?
- You order. You'll see the exact shipping cost at checkout before you pay.
- We make it. Production usually takes 2–7 business days.
- It ships. You get an email with tracking as soon as it's on the way.
- It arrives. Most orders arrive about 3–7 business days after they ship.
In total, plan on roughly 5–14 business days from order to doorstep. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and carrier delays, weather and holidays can add time. If you're ordering a gift, order early.
Why did my order come in more than one package?
Our items are printed at different facilities. A tee and a cap, for example, may be made in different places, so one order can arrive in separate packages on different days. You only pay the shipping shown at checkout.
Where does Akicktion ship?
We currently ship to addresses in the United States only. International shipping isn't available yet. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on what's in your cart, and faster shipping may be offered at checkout for some orders. Please double-check your address, because changes can't be guaranteed once an order is in production. Full details are in our shipping policy.
What is Akicktion's return policy?
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of purchase.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition.
- The original shipping fee is non-refundable.
- You're responsible for return postage.
- Contact us with your order number before sending anything back, and we'll reply with return instructions and the return address.
- Approved refunds go back to your original payment method once the return is received and inspected.
Because every piece is printed to order, we can't swap sizes directly. To get a different size, return the original under the policy and place a new order. Our fit guide can help you pick the right size the first time. Read the full refund policy.
What if my item arrives damaged or misprinted?
If your item arrives misprinted, damaged or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We'll send a free replacement or refund you, and you won't pay any shipping. If tracking stops moving for an unusually long time, or it says delivered but you can't find it, contact us and we'll work with the carrier and our print partner to sort it out.
