The 229 Series: The Story Behind Our South Georgia AK Tees
The 229 Series is Akicktion's collection of South Georgia tees. Each one draws a real place or a piece of local life, like Radium Springs, the Flint River or Albany's 1913 Union Depot, inside the letters of our AK mark. They're printed big on the back of a heavyweight Comfort Colors 1717 tee, with a small cream AK on the left chest, and they cost $38 for S–XL.
Akicktion has Albany, Georgia roots. "The 229" is our area code, and for a lot of us it's shorthand for home. The 229 Series is how we put home on a shirt. See the whole lineup in The 229 Series collection.
Why put the scene inside the AK?
The AK is the core Akicktion mark. For this series we treat those two letters like a window: the outline of the AK stays bold and recognizable, and the scene lives inside it. From across the room it reads as AK. Up close you see the cypress, the river or the depot lights. It's a way to wear a hometown landmark and the brand at the same time without either one fighting for space.
The scenes in The 229 Series
Radium Springs at dusk
Albany's blue hole. Radium Springs runs aqua and cold year-round, so the Radium Springs AK Tee shows teal ripples under a coral and peach sky, cypress hung with Spanish moss, and the old 1927 casino drawn as a ghost on the horizon.
Sunrise on the Flint
The Flint River Shoals AK Tee catches the sun coming up over a dark tree line, water riffling across limestone shoals, and shoals spider lilies blooming white with gold centers. It's for river days, early starts and anybody who grew up on the Flint.
Pecan groves at golden hour
Southwest Georgia grows pecans by the ton. The Pecan Grove AK Tee uses a vintage crate-label sunburst, a rust sun and grove rows running to the horizon, with a pecan cluster tucked into the K.
The Okefenokee after dark
The Okefenokee Night AK Tee is wild South Georgia: a big cream moon over a field of stars, bald cypress draped in moss, amber light on black water, fireflies, and a pair of gator eyes watching from the dark.
Providence Canyon
Georgia's Little Grand Canyon. The Providence Canyon AK Tee layers pink, salmon, orange and plum canyon walls with hoodoo spires, pines on the rim and a trail along the floor. The blue tee itself plays the part of the sky.
Union Depot, 1913
Railroad history from the heart of downtown Albany. On the Union Depot 1913 AK Tee, the long brick depot glows with brass-lit windows under broad hipped roofs, lamps line the platform, and a steam engine rolls in past the water tank and signal.
Sunset Court
Not every 229 landmark is on a map. The Sunset Court AK Tee is for the local pickleball crowd: a serve going up into a coral sunset, live oaks with Spanish moss over the far baseline, and the net, the kitchen and a paddle at rest down front.
Snort Pines, Not Lines
The newest tee in the series heads into the longleaf piney woods. The Snort Pines AK Tee is built around a simple phrase: the only rush worth chasing is a deep breath of fresh pine air. Read the story behind Snort Pines.

Which 229 Series tee is right for you?
Pick the place that feels like home. River people tend to go for the Flint. If you grew up swimming in cold spring water, it's Radium Springs. Night owls get the Okefenokee, and history buffs get the depot. If you can't decide, there's no wrong answer, because they're all the 229.
Care tip: wash cold and inside out, tumble dry low, and don't iron the print.
